Amy Seppman
A Non-Lawyer Director, Amy heads the Marketing and Client Engagement Team at JCP Solicitors. Highly organised and driven by data, Amy provides strategic planning for JCP’s growing portfolio of offices throughout South and West Wales, making sure all company marketing activity meets the long-term goals of the business. Amy is also President of Swansea Bay Business Club and a Committee Member of the South West Wales Brain Injury Group and the chair of JCP’s Diversity and Inclusion group.
Amy and her team plan and coordinate all company marketing from online to offline communications, to events and proposal writing.
As well as planning and coordinating business development and events activity for both commercial and private clients, Amy's team efficiently organise networking, trade stands, conferences and seminars on both a large and smaller scale across South and West Wales and sometimes further afield.
Amy's attention to detail means that she enjoys project management and plays an active PR and communications role.
Her understanding of the online marketplace, including search, pay per click and social media, allows Amy to drive forward the brand in the digital marketplace which can be directly attributed to around 15% of company turnover. Amy has completed the Chartered Institute of Marketing Certificate, Professional Diploma, and the Postgraduate Diploma, achieving Associate Member then Member of the CIM.
Amy first joined JCP Solicitors in June 2003 in a property paralegal role, switching to the Marketing team in 2006. In April 2013 Amy was appointed as one of the youngest non-lawyer salaried law firm partners in Wales at the time. Amy was made Marketing Director at the business in 2015 when JCP became a Limited Company and after 5 further successful years, Amy became one of the business owners in July 2020.
Noted as a rising star in Wales, Amy has been listed in the Western Mail’s ‘35 under 35 to watch’ and was highly commended in the Rising Star Category of the South Wales Evening Post’s Women in Business Awards. Amy took over as President of Swansea Bay Business Club in January 2024 with her tenure running until the end of 2026.
As part of her role as committee member of the South West Wales Brain Injury Group (SWWBIG), Amy's team organises an annual Brain Injury conference in Swansea, attracting around 200 delegates from the Acquired Brain Injury community in Wales.
Amy has also undertaken training to become a Dementia Friend. A Dementia Friend learns more about what it is like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action.
Out of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, who all take part in various sporting activities. Amy completed Ironman Wales in 2019 and Challenge Roth in 2023, she enjoys swimming and cycling but avoids running when possible!
