As a regional law firm we are able to offer the opportunity to progress careers quickly and for our team members to have more responsibility earlier on. Our recruitment is based on attitude before skill and we are a family friendly firm where a positive work life balance is encouraged.

In accordance with data protection legislation, all records relating to the recruitment and selection procedure will be retained only for as long as is necessary. We regularly review records under our data protection measures, any records will be securely destroyed after a 12 month period.

Trainee Solicitor Programme

Why join the team at JCP as a Trainee?

Our Trainee Solicitor positions offer an exciting and comprehensive training programme over two years, with a variety of seats to be undertaken in a range of teams. As a Trainee Solicitor of JCP Solicitors, you will experience three or four seats on a six-month rotation, in a mixture of contentious and non-contentious areas.

We recognise the importance of training and development for our team members and during our Trainee Solicitor programme, you will work in a supportive environment alongside Directors, Associates, and our dedicated Training Principal. In each seat, you will have the opportunity to develop a variety of skills that will maximise your potential and enable you to carry out your role with excellence. The quality and variety of our clients and specialities will give you exposure to an interesting and challenging workload, whilst learning the role of a Solicitor.
