JCP Solicitors Welcomes New Starters in Injury Services
We are delighted to welcome Carlos Land and Jessica Thomas to our teams dealing with serious injuries, both to be based in our Swansea Head Office.
Carlos will take on a Director role in the Catastrophic Injury team, and Jessica joins as an Associate Solicitor in the Court of Protection team. Both will support those who have suffered as a result of birth or brain injury.
Following our recognition in The Legal 500 as a top tier firm for 2025, these appointments continue to strengthen our Injury Services teams and build our reputation as a leading firm in Wales.
Carlos Land joins JCP Solicitors from Hugh James Solicitors, bringing over 25 years’ experience to the team. As a Director in Catastrophic Injury, Carlos will lead on caseloads of clients who have experienced life-changing injuries. Carlos takes a holistic approach to injury and compensation claims, ensuring the client receives appropriate provision and is signposted to multiple rehabilitation and support services.
Jessica Thomas join us from Hopkins Law, and brings experience in deputyship and trust matters. Jessica works to support those who have suffered from a birth or brain injury and are unable to manage their own financial affairs. In joining the Court of Protection team, Jessica will strengthen Injury Services by offering specialised support and legal guidance to those who have lost capacity due to serious injury, working closely with the Catastrophic Injury team to support clients long-term.
