Hi, I am Abi, and my journey with JCP began during my undergraduate placement year in September 2021 when I joined the Court of Protection team. After gaining valuable experience, I returned to Swansea University in September 2022 to complete the third year of my Law degree whilst continuing to work part-time as a Legal Assistant in the team. Now, my dedication and hard work have led to the next exciting chapter in my career as a Trainee Solicitor.
I have a calm nature which is suited to this type of work and the client base. I particularly enjoy being able to help the team’s more vulnerable clients.
I graduated with a First-Class Honors in Law in July 2023 from Swansea University, and I am currently studying an LLM in Legal Practice with the College of Legal Practice.
In my spare time, I like going for walks with my dog, socialising with friends and volunteering. I have previously volunteered with Discovery Student Volunteering Service, Neath Port Talbot Youth Council and Swansea Bay University Health Boards Youth Advisory Panel. I am currently the Charities Officer for the Swansea & District Junior Lawyers Division 2024/2025.
