Betsan is the Head of Commercial Services for JCP Solicitors, working alongside the team, offering expertise in corporate and commercial transactions for businesses across South and West Wales and beyond. Betsan is also the Data Protection Officer for JCP Solicitors, in charge of overseeing the company’s data protection strategy and its implementation.
Betsan’s expertise covers a broad range of corporate and commercial matters including, acquisitions, disposals, mergers, joint ventures, investments and funding.
She has worked on transactions across a range of sectors but has particular experience in the healthcare sector.
Described as "attentive and knowledgeable" (Legal 500 2022) and known to “provide knowledgeable and practical solutions to whatever issue is put in front of them” (Legal 500 2024), Betsan continues to be recommended in the Corporate & Commercial section in the Legal 500 Wales guides.
Betsan is heavily involved in the Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Lunch, an event formed to bring together the local business community in Pembrokeshire, and is a trustee of the charity Women In Wales supporting children’s charities and projects in Wales.
Betsan joined JCP as a Director in October 2013 from Redkite. Prior to that Betsan was a Partner at Acuity Legal in Cardiff. Betsan is a fluent Welsh speaker and in her spare time enjoys walking in the Preseli hills.
