  • Legal Assistant - Court of Protection
Home / Our People / Carolina Galanti

Hi, I am Carolina, and I am a Legal Assistant in the Court of Protection team. My main responsibilities are administrative tasks to support the team and look after client records. Caring for each client and making sure records are kept safe are a priority in our busy team. I enjoy playing a key role in helping those who lack the mental capacity to manage their affairs to live their life to the fullest and provide them with the help and support they need.

With the end goal to become a Solicitor, I joined JCP through the Legal Apprenticeship Scheme, which provides an alternative route to qualification, after completing my A Levels in Law, Business and Spanish. JCP’s reputation led me to apply and since joining the Court of Protection team, I have felt fully supported and mentored, supporting my dedication to succeed in my future career.

Currently, I am studying the Level 3 Paralegal qualification with Trinity Saint David University of Wales and hope to continue my studies alongside working full-time at JCP.

I was born in Italy and lived in Brazil before moving to the UK in 2015, without speaking a word of English. Through schooling, I now speak fluent English and have even developed a Welsh accent. A keen linguist, I also speak fluent Portuguese and Italian and I am now practising my Spanish.

Outside of work, I love to travel all around the world, mostly where the sun and heat follow! Every year, I visit my home country and my family in Italy and Brazil. I also love spending quality time with my 12-year-old Dachshund dog who moved with me from Brazil and only understands Portuguese!
