Michael is a Trainee Business Support Assistant in our Central Services team, where his main duties involve file opening and administration duties to support the legal teams throughout the firm.
In this role, he is embracing new challenges and thoroughly enjoying the process. Michael values the collaborative and supportive environment at JCP and is driven to help others and acquire new skills.
Michael's path to his current position has been both unconventional and inspiring. Having previously studied Sports Coaching at university, he built a career as a sports coach for a local authority and as a teaching assistant in special education schools.
His career change was influenced by a life-altering experience: at the age of 24, Michael suffered a sudden stroke and brain haemorrhage. This required him to relearn fundamental skills like walking, talking, eating, and driving - a journey that took nearly five years. This extraordinary recovery process shaped his outlook, instilling a drive to explore new opportunities, which led him to pursue a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business.
Outside of work, Michael is an avid music and sports enthusiast. He enjoys attending live concerts, playing guitar, and supporting Manchester United.
