Hi, I am Sam, and I am a Solicitor within our Medical Negligence team based in Swansea. I have experience in dealing with a variety of claims including delays in diagnosis, errors in surgery and fatal claims. I fully appreciate the difficulties and stress which is caused with these cases, and therefore I ensure that I work closely with, and fully support my clients fully when assisting them with pursuing a medical negligence claim.
I graduated from the University of Southampton with a law degree in 2015. Following that I joined a large insurance company where I dealt with catastrophic and serious injury claims.
I joined JCP Solicitors in 2018 as a part-time Legal Assistant in the Medical Negligence team, where I developed a specialism with claims under the Redress Scheme. Meanwhile, I also undertook the LPC combined with a Masters at Swansea University.
I commenced my training contract in March 2021, and qualified as a solicitor in September 2022.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing 5 aside football and cooking.
I undertook training in 2020 to become a Dementia Friend. A Dementia Friend learns more about what it is like to live with dementia and then turns that understanding into action.
