Hi, I am Thomas. I have over a decade of specialist clinical negligence experience, and I deal with cases across the full spectrum of medical negligence. I run a varied and complex caseload of catastrophic spinal injuries, amputation claims, gynaecological, orthopaedic and cases involving cancer.

I joined the Injury Services team at JCP Solicitors in 2013 having worked and trained for several years in Cardiff. I became a Director in 2018 and more recently a Business Owner in 2023.

As a Medical Negligence Director, I am committed to building strong and trusted relationships with all my clients. I believe this is vital given the trust and responsibility injured people place in their solicitor in pursuing any claim. This also allows me to have a better understanding of the individual's needs and objectives as each client is very different. I recognise that in most medical negligence cases the effects are devastating and long lasting.

I take care to clearly explain the process and keep all my clients fully up to date at every stage. This helps not only relieve some of the anxiety and apprehension a client may have but it also means the case progresses as quickly and smoothly as possible.

While I am based in Carmarthen, I work from all our offices throughout South Wales and regularly see clients in East Wales including Cardiff, Caerphilly, and West Wales including Haverfordwest and Fishguard.

I am the current Secretary and Past President of the West Wales Law Society, having been on the committee for many years.

I am proud that JCP Solicitors is a member of the Spinal Injuries Association working closely with SIA to support people with spinal injuries. JCP Solicitors is currently the only SIA business member with 8 local offices spread across South and West Wales.

Outside of work, I am kept very busy with three young children and a Dalmatian. When I am not being run ragged at home you will find me in the garage doing woodwork. I have recently finished restoring a Morris Minor Traveller!
