If you are a Letting Agent and want an update and overview on the most effective way to remove tenants from rented residential property, Sarah Davies, Director and Head of Property Litigation at JCP Solicitors, has a short presentation that she is currently delivering to Letting Agencies.
The removal of a tenant from a property can be a stressful and time consuming exercise if not handled with care. JCP offer a fixed fee service to serve the required notices and if necessary issue Court proceedings to obtain a possession order.
Sarah will also provide of an overview of the Renting Homes (Wales) Bill that gained Royal Assent on the 18th January 2016. The Bill contains detailed provisions on terminating occupational contracts. The standard occupational contract is modelled on the current assured shorthold tenancy. Whilst not yet in force the Bill in due course will reform the basis for renting homes in Wales.
