Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Business Lunch
Join us at St. Brides Spa Hotel on Friday 13 October 2023, 12:30pm for a 1pm lunch with guest speakers, former British Lions and Wales International Rugby players, Robert Jones MBE, and Brynmor Williams MBE.
A former professional rugby player, Robert was capped 54 times for Wales and played for the British and Irish Lions during his career. In recent years, Robert has remained involved with professional rugby as a coach for the Llanelli Scarlets. A fluent Welsh speaker, Robert can often be heard on BBC radio and seen on television as a rugby commentator. In 1996, Robert was awarded an MBE for his contribution to Welsh rugby.
Robert is now Group Development Director for Thomas Carroll, having joined the group in 2009 as Regional Director of the Group’s new Swansea office. Robert oversees the business development responsibilities for all regional offices. He has considerable commercial experience in the insurance, financial services and building society sectors.
Bryn joined Thomas Carroll in 2006 as Group Board Director, primarily responsible for client management and business development. A former British Lion and Wales International Rugby player and a popular radio and TV pundit. Bryn was born in Cardigan in 1951 and started his budding rugby career at Cardigan RFC. Currently residing in Cowbridge, married with four children, and following in his professional rugby footsteps are his two sons, Lloyd and Tom.
Robert and Bryn will be discussing all things rugby including this year's Rugby World Cup with plenty of opportunity for questions and answers.
