David Goodway

David is experienced in dealing with large-scale commercial and residential developments, site assembly, land and build acquisitions, bulk purchases, disposals, estate management and real estate finance. He has acted for numerous developers, both small and large, and is experienced in promotion agreements, conditional contracts, development agreements and overage.

David undertakes a wide range of further work, including commercial acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, acting for lenders in connection with secured lending, and acting for private investors and funds in relation to the acquisition and disposal of investment properties.

David first joined the Commercial Property team in 2022 to assist with the growth of the client base in the South East, working closely with our Commercial, Employment and Property Litigation team members based in this area. Primarily based in the Cardiff office, but covering Caerphilly and Cowbridge, David is proud of the relationships held in the professional community with Surveyors, Developers and Agents.

Outside of work David enjoys keeping active generally, and is in the twilight of what can loosely be described as his cricket “career”, and spending time with his family and two energetic dogs.
