Ffion Wareham

Ffion joined JCP in 2021 in our Business Support team, quickly progressing to Legal Assistant before undertaking her Training Contract in the firm. Ffion qualified as an Associate Solicitor within our Commercial Litigation team in November 2024, where she has been primarily based since March 2023. Ffion has a range of experience in commercial litigation matters and undertakes work for a variety of commercial and private clients.

 Ffion’s work largely relates to debt recovery, which includes acting for a major high street bank and other lenders, recovering both secured and unsecured lending from individuals and companies throughout England and Wales.

 Alongside this work, Ffion works closely with Sophie Thomas, Joint Head of Commercial Litigation, in advising a number of fixed charge receivers across the UK in respect of their appointments and duties.

 Ffion also regularly assists Andrew Meech, Joint Head of Commercial Litigation, gaining experience in disputes concerning misfeasance, breach of duty, preferences, transactions at an undervalue and transactions designed to defraud creditors. Additionally, Ffion supports Andrew in his advisory work for Macron S.p.A, an Italian technical sportswear brand, based in Bologna, Italy.

 A graduate of Swansea University, Ffion attained her Law Degree in 2019. She then continued her studies by completing the Legal Practice Course and Masters of Laws, achieving a Distinction in both qualifications.

 Outside of work, Ffion is an active member of the Swansea and District Junior Lawyers Division. Ffion acts as the committee's social secretary, where she helps to organise events throughout the year. In her free time, Ffion also enjoys socialising with family & friends, swimming and baking cakes.
