Katie Walters

Katie is the Deputy Team Leader in our Residential Property team. Her role is to ensure that our clients can move home as quickly as possible, using her experience to assist the team in proactively progressing their matters. Katie has over 15 years of experience working in the residential property field, having qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2011.

Katie graduated in 2005 from the University of Wales Aberystwyth with an honours degree in Law. Katie then worked for a well-known local law firm whilst completing her Legal Practice course in 2006.

In 2010, Katie joined Dezrezlegal, a firm solely dedicated to residential conveyancing, working as an assistant between 2010 – 2012. Between 2012 and 2022, following qualification, Katie worked in a legal role with her own large caseload of residential property transactions, supervising a team of three legal assistants.

Outside of work, Katie is an active volunteer for her son's rugby team, including assisting with the preparation of match day food on game days and fundraising for the club. Katie also loves cycling with her family, although admits that she does cheat given that her bike is electric!
