Melanie Miller

Melanie joined JCP following her previous role as a Legal Secretary at a local law firm as she saw the opportunities for career development within JCP.

Mel joined JCP as a Business Support Assistant, carrying out front-of-house duties, welcoming clients and supporting the teams across the firm, and soon progressed into her Legal Advisor role, under JCP’s Legal Apprenticeship Scheme. With the end goal of becoming a qualified solicitor, Mel felt this was an ideal route to begin her studies and work full-time to earn as she learns. Mel is currently studying at Level 3 as a Paralegal with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

In her role as Business Support Assistant, Mel gravitated towards lifetime planning and probate related work, which led her to apply for her current role. Mel hopes to leave a positive impact on clients and make an often emotional and difficult process as pleasant as possible and looks forward to continuing to learn and develop in her role.

In her free time, Mel enjoys spending time with friends and family (and their dogs!), reading and going for walks - preferably on the beach when the Welsh weather allows!
