JCP Solicitors is proud to sponsor the newly established Cymru Spinal Group, in partnership with Equinox Physiotherapy Partnership Ltd.
JCP Solicitors is a top-ranked Personal Injury and Medical Negligence firm in Wales, recognised by The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners industry bibles. As members of Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), the firm’s Injury Services team is renowned for supporting clients in South and West Wales with spinal cord injuries.
Now, the Injury Services team will share their knowledge and expertise with the Cymru Spinal Group - which is set to become an active support network in South West Wales, offering a wide range of advice and assistance to those impacted by spinal injury. The Group will offer a space for people to connect, share experiences, and receive invaluable support.
The first Cymru Spinal Group Coffee Morning will take place on Monday 16 September from 10am – 12noon at the WWT Llanelli Wetlands Centre. This free and friendly event is open to everyone affected by spinal injuries, including family, friends, and professionals. It will be a chance to share stories and gain insights into managing life post-injury. Free refreshments will be provided.
The Wetlands Centre is fully accessible, with disabled parking, wheelchair access and guide dogs permitted.
Kirsty Meech, Director in the Catastrophic Injury team at JCP Solicitors, said: “I’m proud to be working with Cymru Spinal Group and Equinox Physiotherapy. Our sponsorship will allow us to reach and support a greater number of people impacted by spinal injuries. I’m excited to see the positive impact this group will have on our community.”
Thomas Rees, Director in the Medical Negligence team, added: “Spinal cord injury can have a life-changing impact on the lives of our clients and on their friends and family. That’s why we are on hand to provide legal advice and guidance to those affected by a spinal cord injury. We take a personal approach to each case focusing on the best outcome to ensure they receive the best support.
We look forward to working with the Cymru Spinal Group and supporting more families. We hope to grow the support network that we can offer our clients.”
