We are delighted to announce major developments for #TeamJCP in Carmarthen, designed to strengthen the business’s long-term growth and continue to focus on client service as our priority.

At JCP Solicitors’ Carmarthen office, we have made four key appointments: welcome to Carys Wilson, Lisa Evans, Edwina Davies and Angharad Butler to the Commercial Property, Medical Negligence and Residential Property teams respectively.

A Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association, Carys Wilson has taken on the role of Director in the Commercial Property team. Carys – a fluent Welsh speaker - joins JCP from Morgan LaRoche, where she was an Associate Director. Carys brings strong expertise in all aspects of commercial, agricultural and residential property law, and has successfully represented national property developers, retailers, and investors, demonstrating her experience in landlord and tenant matters and portfolio management.

Edwina Davies has also boosted the Carmarthen team, joining as a Licenced Conveyancer in Residential Property. Edwina brings over 12 years’ experience to the role, with knowledge and experience spanning freehold and leasehold management, equity release, and various transaction types

Angharad Butler joins Edwina in the role of Legal Assistant in the Residential Property team. Angharad is focused on guiding clients through the conveyancing process clearly and efficiently, drawing on her knowledge gained while studying for her Law Degree through the Open University and her Masters in Law at Swansea University.

Lisa Evans joins the team as a Trainee Solicitor in the specialist Medical Negligence team, Director Thomas Rees. A fluent Welsh-speaker, Lisa will support the West Wales team in providing excellent client service and legal advice in Medical Negligence cases.

These strategic appointments come alongside our move to a modern, improved office space at Parc Pensarn, which will allow us to better serve clients and support team development with a modern workspace, free parking, improved accessibility, and access to on-site café Y Sied.

Carys Wilson, Commercial Property Director at JCP Solicitors, said: “We are thrilled to enhance our services for our Carmarthen-based clients, and we look forward to welcoming more visitors to the modern office space.

“We will continue to prioritise the people and businesses of Carmarthenshire, offering the highest level of legal expertise and support. I look forward to leading the Commercial Property team at JCP’s Carmarthen office, working with local SMEs and the farming community and landowners, to support growth and prosperity for the local economy here in West Wales.”
