We are delighted to share that our Residential and Commercial Property teams have been awarded panel status for the Development Bank of Wales loans panels, which provides support to individuals and businesses across Wales.

This is a notable Welsh Government contract for JCP’s property teams, allowing our legal experts to advise on refinance deals of individuals and business properties in favour of the Development Bank of Wales. This will include registration of their charges at Companies House and the Land Registry.

The Development Bank of Wales provides tailored funding for commercial property developers and individuals, and can provide support both with initial purchase costs and throughout the build of the project. Delivering sustainable, effective finance options, the Development Bank of Wales partners with leading law firms to provide legal advice and transaction management.

Emma Gilroy, Director and Head of Residential Property, said: “We are delighted to share the news that our property teams have been selected by the Development Bank of Wales following a competitive tender process, and we look forward to providing expert legal advice and guidance to support property investment in Wales.

“Long-term, we are confident that this partnership will further strengthen our Commercial and Residential Property offering, and develop more professional relationships with the Development Bank of Wales and their client roster.

“As a proud Welsh business, we are committed to supporting the Development Bank of Wales to invest in the Welsh property market in a sustainable, strategic way. We support the Development Bank in its aims to improve prosperity at local and national level.”

Cenydd Rowlands, Property Director at the Development Bank of Wales, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome JCP Solicitors to our property legal services panel. Their expertise and insight will inform our work as we look to support property construction projects across Wales.”
