Supporting the Poppy Appeal
As we emerge from a global pandemic and things start to get back to normal, you might not be thinking about the impact on charities anymore. However, a report in the charity sector in 2020 found that 98% of charities were ‘somewhat’ or ‘very’ concerned about the impact of COVID-19 has on their ability to raise funds. While another report estimates that charities will have a shortfall of 24% of their income i.e. some £12.4bn of cash.
The Royal British Legion need to continue to raise their much-needed funds in 2021. Especially as many face-to-face events and fundraisers won’t be coming back until 2022.
So besides supporting our charity of the year, 2 Wish we are supporting The Royal British Legion by making an online donation of £100 and adding the Poppy to our website and social media channels for the month of November.
