Anaesthetic Awareness
At some point in our lives, many of use will require some form of surgery and sadly things can go wrong. We’ve all heard the stories about patients who have been “awake” on the table, and felt everything that was happening.
Unfortunately, these are not just stories, and we have dealt with clients who have suffered great distress as a result of anaesthetic awareness.
Some patients feel excruciating pain at the time of surgery, recalling events in either small ways or in great detail. Psychological problems are also common after such an experience.
