At JCP, we are proud to support the communities in which we are based and as a trusted, local law firm that supports our clients through life, we are committed to putting our words into action with our #TeamJCP Community Sponsorship Scheme.
Throughout our financial year 2023 – 2024, we supported local sports teams, clubs and causes nominated by our team members, to benefit our local communities.
Across our eight South Wales offices, #TeamJCP were invited to apply for sponsorships of local sports clubs, events and organisations that mean something to them.
Hayley Davies, CEO at JCP Solicitors, said: “We saw some fantastic applications to our community sponsorship scheme. It makes a marked difference to community sports clubs to get new kits; for events to have sponsorship; and for community centres to gain much-needed funding for repairs or restoration.
“All sponsorship activity delivered tangible benefits to the organisations impacted, and by supporting causes close to our teams’ hearts, we hope we can demonstrate that JCP truly values our team members and our communities.
“Each year we invite internal applications for organisations with which our people have a connection, whether through themselves or a family member, meaning we can give back to the organisations which we personally support in a meaningful way.”
Alongside our other community activities, throughout 2023 – 2024, JCP was proud to support the following organisations directly through our #TeamJCP Scheme:
- Gorseinon’s G&K Martial Arts Academy with funding to enable the Academy to run a free 6-week beginners’ course for 30 students
