JCP Sponsors Brackla Harriers Christmas Pudding Race

On Sunday 15th December, JCP Solicitors was proud to sponsor the Brackla Harriers Christmas Pudding race once again.

The sold-out race raises vital funds for the Bridgend Foodbank and Sandville Self-help Foundation, supporting the local community during the festive season.

Taking place along the stunning and changeable terrain of Merthyr Mawr’s sand dunes, rugged coastline and winding woodlands, the 10km Pudding Race is a firm favourite of locals and visiting runners alike - many of whom dress up in Christmas costumes and festive outfits to take part.

The route is a fun yet challenging trail through the Merthyr Mawr estate, starting from the foot of The Big Dipper sand dune which is the second biggest in Europe. The route includes mud, sand, stone, tarmac, and sand-dunes, with some inclines along the dunes and flat topography along the sand. 

Nick O’Neill, Director in the Medical Negligence team at JCP, said: “The Brackla Harriers Christmas Pudding Race is one of our favourite events to support during the festive season, the atmosphere is so supportive and it all goes towards fantastic causes.

“Bridgend Foodbank provides a lifeline for local people in crisis, and Sandville Foundation provides physical, emotional and psychological support for people with life limiting and life-changing conditions. We are delighted to support these hard-working charities which make a tangible difference to local peoples’ lives.
