New Family Law Specialist Joins JCP Solicitors Carmarthen Team

JCP Solicitors has boosted its well-respected Family Law team in Carmarthen, with a new recruit to the firm.

Angela Killa will be part of the busy Family Law team at JCP’s Carmarthen office, joining Head of the Team Sali Jackson-Thomas, Matthew Wells and Carmarthen based Rachel Powell. The Carmarthen office has been busy dealing with the family affairs since merging with Pritchard Edwards in 2014.

Angela gained her experience in Family Law at a number of legal firms in South and West Wales, undertaking all family work including divorce, finances, domestic abuse work, matters concerning children as well as acting on behalf of children.

Welsh speaker Angela was part of the first A Level law class to study for the exam through the medium of Welsh and she has been happy to continue her training and her career development bi-lingually.

Sali Jackson-Thomas, Head of the Family Law Team at JCP said: “Angela is a very welcome addition to the Carmarthen team and I know her expertise will enhance the work we do across all aspects of this important and sensitive area of law.

“It has always been a priority for us at JCP to make sure we serve fully the communities in which we are based, and being able to offer our services in people’s language of choice is part of that. Angela will be one of many Welsh speakers in JCP’s Carmarthen team.

“On a lighter note, I know Angela is a keen cyclist, so I hope we are able to recruit her for some of our many sporting charity events and fundraisers in the JCP calendar!”
